  託福寫作究竟怎樣才能寫成滿分作文?

馬上要到年底申請了,託福寫作還是拖後腿怎麼辦?不少同學在答寫作題時都喜歡套用模板,但我們往往會發現:用了一個很牛的模板,寫了100多個詞,還是上不了20分?

同學們,你們以爲ETS的閱卷人是吃素的嗎?你自以爲的 “高分作文”,人家可是一眼就能看出來是千篇一律的模板。

那麼,怎樣寫才能寫出一篇好作文呢?

寫出一篇高分作文,首先思路要正確,要站在出題人的角度思考問題。

我們用一個寫作話題舉例:“爲了晉升,到底要承擔更多(個體)工作,還是更多參與團隊任務?”。有同學一上來看到 “團隊” 二字就樂開花,大書特書團隊合作如何效率高,隻字不提對“個體晉升” 這件事。ETS花半天出了題,我們是不是應該多思考一些再落筆?比如這道題,我們既要寫出團隊協作的效率高,又要寫出個體晉升的便攜性,有對比才能顯出文章的深度。即便準備了模板,也要想想怎麼把模板裏面有價值的信息邏輯正確地嵌入到文章裏。

說完思路,我們來說說語言方面,ETS要求正確和邏輯流暢的句子。至於那種5句話裏面就有5個逗號,1個連詞都沒有,像 “there have many people say” 這種,男閱卷人看了要沉默,女閱卷人看了要流淚,我們是不是還要在基本語法上多下些功夫?

如果一篇文章如果審題思路有偏差,例子不清晰,語言也凌亂,又怎麼值得24+的分數呢?

  託福寫作論點論據語料庫:學校設施

學校的硬件設施 :gym :

活動類型:

In a nutshell, it is really important for a university to own a nice recreation center(gym 的同義詞),for it helps to promote a healthy, active lifestyle.

實驗室laboratory :

做實驗conduct research, 把理論應用於實際apply theory in practice, 直觀的理解概念understand concepts intuitively(直觀的),培養學生的創造力 develop students' creativity;

實驗室是好學校的重要組成部分, 然後展開實驗室的作用(即以上內容)。

Great labs are a big part of a good university, students can use the lab to apply theory into practice and conduct researches in their fields, moreover, by doing experiments students can understand the concepts better and develop their creativity.

名聲reputation :

學校的名聲跟學生沒有直接關係,我覺得沒啥意義。

Reputation of a university has no direct impact on its students, and it is kind of meaningless.

教員faculty :

跟audit class聯繫在一起;

聽課是最好的瞭解一個學校的方式,因爲教授的知識、教書技巧和方式代表着學校,而且上課中傳遞的價值觀在很大程度上也是學校的價值觀。

Auditing class is the best to know the university better, since faculty members are an indispensable part of the university. Their knowledge,teaching skills and even the way they teach the class represent the university. The values they uphold in the class are the ones that are cherished by the university.

地點location :

就學校的地點可以參看之前的地點語料庫:

比如大都市metropolis, 多文化的multicultural, 方便的convenient, 公共交通 public transportation, 商店shops, 酒吧和餐館 bars and restaurant,充滿活力 full of dynamics; 當然也可以跟social裏面的broaden your horizon and enrich your experience結合在一起。

大學的大小size :

“大”的好處 :

多元化diverse student body, 俱樂部和社團lots of clubs and societies, 完備的設施well established facilities, 著名的教授lots of famous professors, 活動很多various activities;

個人而言, 我喜歡較大的大學,學生團體會比較多元, 國際學生很多,他們組織好多社會活動。

Personally, I would say I like to attend a big university. A big university tends to have a diverse student body, there might be lots of international students like me, and they organize all kinds of social activities.

還有較大的大學會有一流的設備如圖書館、體育館和實驗設施。

Also, a big university is likely to have very well established facilities like multi-functional libraries, recreation centers and research facilities. These are big parts of a colorful university life.

  託福寫作模板思路:朋友學習問題求助

託福獨立寫作題目:你的朋友在學習方面遇到問題,你擅長此學科。你希望他找你尋求幫助還是找老師(tutor)求助?

Vicky老師的思路講解:

這是一道幾年前出現在北美考區的考題,我們可以選擇向自己求助。構思時可以採取分主體的辦法,也就是這樣做對自己及對方各有什麼好處。

第一段:這樣做既可以幫助對方解決問題,又可以促進關係提升。

後面可以舉例論證。比如對方在英語的某方面有困難,於是找我求助,我幫助他解決了問題(展開過程),使他的成績得到提升,同時也讓他更加了解我在此學科十分擅長,甚至比想象中更擅長,從而對我更加信服,跟我的關係也更進一步。

第二段:找我求助可以也幫助我自己查漏補缺。雖然我可能十分擅長某學科,但也仍有可能存在些許問題,如果朋友問的恰好是我的知識漏洞,我就可以藉此機會彌補,在考試時我們都不會答錯。後面照常舉例即可。

第三段(讓步段):tutor 一般都能利用自己的專業知識幫助學生解決問題,但有的同學可能因爲害羞而不敢找 tutor 求助,或者擔心自己會被老師批評或責備,這樣反而不利於溝通及解決問題。如果找我求助,因爲我們是同齡人及朋友,我並不會批評對方,而是給對方耐心講解,對方也會以放鬆的心態與我溝通,最終問題會得以解決。
