These are the posters you can download from the elegant Stop Phubbing website – the online home of a campaign against digitally derived rudeness that has started to go global.

Coined by Alex Haigh, a 23-year-old Melbourne resident, phubbing stands for "phone snubbing", and describes "the act of snubbing someone in a social setting by looking at your phone instead of paying attention".

“低頭症”是英語中“phone snubbing”的縮寫。該詞由家住墨爾本年僅23歲的Alex Haigh所創，指的是“在社交場合只顧低頭玩手機，對周圍人毫不理睬的行爲”。

文中的phubbing就是“低頭症”的意思。phubbing，是phone+snubbing組成的合成詞，與之類似的有：Chinglish=Chinese+English（中國式英語）；sexting=sex+texting（色情短信）和manny=male+nanny（男保姆）等。

第一段中出現的Facebook、Instagram、Foursquare均是國外的知名社交網站，其中Facebook即所謂的“臉譜”網，Instagram是知名的照片分享網站，Foursquare是知名的地理位置分享網站。此外Tweet就是用戶發到Twitter上的信息，而Twitter（推特）相當於中國的微博。
