英語中,"自殺"的N種不同表達方法(圖)
日前，因出演《冬日戀歌》而走紅的韓星樸龍河在其住所被發現死亡，年僅33歲。韓國警方近日公佈了對樸龍河自殺案的初步調查結果，稱樸龍河自殺是因平時積累的壓力加上酒後的一時衝動所致。警方稱樸龍河在家用手機充電器的電線自縊而死，原因是“壓力過大”和“酒後衝動”，年僅33歲；韓國媒體擔心引發又一輪韓星“自殺。
1. 說起“自殺”這個詞的英語，大家可能都不陌生吧，最常見的就是“suicide”。
比如說：He attempted suicide after his firm had gone bankrupt. (他在公司破產後曾試圖自殺。)
從上面這句中，我們可以看到，“企圖自殺”是“attempt suicide”，其實就是我們常說的“自殺未遂”。
2. 除了“suicide”這個詞，其實還有另外其他靈活表達法。比如：Our neighbour tried to make away with himself by drinking poison . (我們的鄰居企圖喝毒藥自殺。)
“make away with oneself”也是“自殺”的意思。短語“make away with”有“偷走”，“摧毀”的意思，比如說：The Bank robbers made away with thousands of dollars. (搶銀行的人搶走好幾千元。)
如此一來，“make away with oneself”便不難理解爲“自殺”了。
3.另外，英語中還有些其他的表達可以表示“自殺”的意思，
譬如：die by one's own hand,take one's own life,idioctonia，take one's own life, lay hands on oneself,suicide oneself, self-slaughter, self-murder, self-destruction, cut one's own throat, die by one's own hand, take his life, took his life, do away with oneself, go without a passport, idioctonia, Dutch act等。
