實用口語:如何說“發生地震”
5月12日，四川汶川發生了里氏7.8級大地震，至今死亡人數已經上升到14866人，被毀壞的房屋無數。面對自然災害，中國人團結起來、互相幫扶，都希望能儘快將受災的人們解救出來。我們也意識到，我們需要對地震多一些瞭解。
那麼，“發生了地震”，該如何說呢？地震多屬於突發事件，來勢猛烈，去的也快，因此，英語中描述地震的動詞也多具有這樣的特點。比如用hit 和roll across兩個詞。Roll 表示“波動起伏地前進”，比如：
