環保部表示 前11月空氣質量最差10城河北佔6席

Six cities in Hebei rank among the bottom 10 cities with the worst air quality in the first 11 months, according to a report released last Tuesday on the air quality of key cities in China by the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP).

根據環保部上週二發佈的國內主要城市空氣質量報告，今年前11個月，空氣質量墊底的十座城市中河北省佔據六席，保定、唐山及其省會城市石家莊均在其列。

The six Hebei cities include Baoding, Tangshan and provincial capital Shijiazhuang, which ranked alongside Henan's Zhengzhou, Shandong's Jinan, Shanxi's Taiyuan and Shaanxi's Xi'an as the country's most polluted cities.

河南鄭州、山東濟南、山西太原、陝西西安也在全國空氣污染最嚴重的城市之列。

Luo Yi, the MEP's head of environmental monitoring, said that 338 cites above prefecture-level had acceptable air quality on 80.5% of days from January to November, an increase of 2.6 percentage points year on year.

環保部環境監測司司長羅毅介紹，1-11月，全國338個地級以上城市空氣質量優良天數比例爲80.5%，同比提高2.6個百分點。

However, the November statistics showed an increase in PM2.5 and PM10 density in the 338 cities compared with that of last year, with the number of days with good air quality accounting for just 71.6%.

不過，11月的數據顯示，338個城市的PM2.5和PM10濃度同比有所上升，空氣質量優良天數比例僅爲71.6%。

Experts said that due to the influence of bad meteorological conditions, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Northeast China were besieged by heavy pollution several times last month.

專家稱，受不利氣象條件影響，上個月京津冀及東北地區曾多次出現重污染天氣。

Some northern cities experienced sandy and dusty weather three times, which led to an increase in particles in the air.

部分北方城市出現了三次沙塵天氣，導致空氣中的顆粒物有所增加。
