調查顯示:僅四分之一受訪者認爲婚戀交友網站靠譜

More than half the respondents to a China Youth Daily survey say they have used dating websites, but only a quarter believe the services are reliable.

《中國青年報》一項調查顯示，超過一半的受訪者表示自己或身邊的朋友使用過相親交友網站，不過僅1/4的受訪者覺得這種途徑比較靠譜。

Online dating services suffer from three key issues: fraud committed by fake matchmakers (57 percent), people pretending to seek love but promoting restaurants or expensive wines instead (56.6 percent), and loopholes by websites that allow users to be identified (54.1 percent), the survey shows.

調查指出，婚戀網存在三大主要問題：假紅娘的欺騙(57%)；名爲相親，實爲飯託、酒託(56.6%)；實名認證存在漏洞(54.1%)。

More than 45 percent believe online dating websites have facilitated scams, and 36.4 percent point out a lack of ways to defend their legal rights.

超過45%的人認爲婚戀網站加劇了詐騙行爲，36.4%的人指出，目前缺乏保護自身合法權利的途徑。

The top three reasons people choose dating websites are "more choices" (56.2 percent), few real-life opportunities to network (53.3 percent), and low cost (53.2 percent), the survey finds.

調查還發現，人們選擇通過婚戀網相親最主要的三個原因是：選擇更多(56.2%)、現實生活中機會少(53.3%)，以及成本低(53.2%)。

Su Shirong, who works for a domestic online dating website, says she knows many friends and colleagues who have fallen in love and gotten married after dating online. But she also suggests that users be "sharp-eyed and discerning."
