電子閱讀正成爲年輕一代的閱讀常態

High school and college students like reading e-books and read 18 e-books on average each year, e-book service provider iReader said in its report on digital reading.

電子書服務提供商掌閱在其發佈的數字閱讀報告中指出,高中和大學學生喜歡閱讀電子書,平均每年讀18本電子書。

BEIJING, Shanghai and Shenzhen are the top three cities for people willing to spend time and money on e-books, whose market revenue tops US$1.4 billion annually in China.

北京、上海和深圳是人們願意把時間和金錢花在電子書上的前三名的城市,其每年的市場收入突破了14億美元大關。

68% of digital readers are young people under 25, the report said. However, office workers are the ones more willing to spend time and money on e-books.

On average, readers with 10 years of work experience spend 51 minutes a day and 145 yuan a year on e-books, compared to 36 minutes a day and 72 yuan a year of college students, according to the report.

報告顯示,工作10年的讀者平均每天閱讀電子書51分鐘,年消費金額達145元。相比之下,大學生平均每天閱讀電子書36分鐘,年消費金額爲72元。

Sales of domestic cartoon e-books have seen explosive growth in 2016, it said.

報告稱,2016年,國產漫畫類電子書銷量呈爆發式增長。

Last year, serious and profound e-books gained popularity among readers, while mystery e-books appealed to young people in particular.

嚴肅類、深刻類的電子書在去年受到了讀者的追捧,懸疑類電子書格外受到年輕人的喜愛。
