中國很少有人帶薪休假

A large amount of Chinese employees refuse to take paid leave, a legal right for workers stipulated by Chinese law, a new survey has found.

我國法律規定職工享有帶薪休假的合法權利,但很多職工拒絕享受帶薪假。

According to a nationwide survey conducted by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, around 50% of Chinese employees choose not to take paid leave.

人社部一項全國性調查顯示,目前我國有50%左右的職工選擇不休帶薪假。

In a bid to find out why, the People's Daily recently interviewed several employees in different employment settings. The newspaper found interviewees who work for government organs, institutions and State-owned enterprises reluctantly give up their rights due to concerns that asking for paid leave might "leave bosses the bad impression of being lazy" and influence future job promotions.

爲找原因,《人民日報》近日採訪了不同職業背景的一些職工,發現在政府部門、事業單位和國有企業工作的受訪者由於擔心要求休帶薪假可能會給老闆留下"偷懶"的壞印象,影響未來工作晉升而不情願地放棄休假的權利。

In other jobs, such as sales, employees forego paid leave to avoid smaller bonuses, as only basic salary is given during that time.

對於其它工作,如銷售,職工放棄帶薪休假是爲了避免獎金的縮水,因爲帶薪休假期間只能拿底薪。
