每天三分鐘學英語 第80期:英文"旁邊"用next還是near表達

當我們在生活中想和別人用英文表達“我就住在XX旁邊”、“你想坐在我旁邊嗎”時要怎麼說呢？大家想一想~

Jack說：
“they only fall asleep if they're next to each other. 他們只有挨在一起的時候才能睡着。”
一說到“旁邊”很多同學可能首先想到的是 near 或者 by，其實在生活中“在…的旁邊”經常用到的是“Next to”

Sit next to… 坐在…旁邊
Sit next to me 坐在我旁邊
Do you want to sit next to me? 你想坐我旁邊嗎？

這個表達是不是既簡單又地道呢~有時候我們還可以這樣用：
Be next to… 坐在…旁邊
Be next to me 坐在我旁邊
He's right next to me. Do you wanna talk to him? 他就在我旁邊你要不要跟他說話？

還有一個非常常用的表達：
Live next to… 住在…旁邊
I live right next to my work. It's very convenient. 我就住在公司旁邊，特別方便。
I live right next to a supermarket. 我就住在一個大超市旁邊。
