Though this sense of the phrase is still uncommon compared to the original pejorative intent, mothers in particular may state their pride in their "mama's boy" sons.
不過，近幾年，“奶嘴男”的指向沒有原來那麼飽含貶義了，多指那些在感情上比較依賴母親的男人。雖說這種新的解讀沒有原意那麼普及，不過不管怎樣，媽媽們都會以有個“奶嘴男”兒子而驕傲的。
