俄總統梅德韋傑夫與聯合國祕書長會談

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is meeting with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon near Moscow for talks on international security, including events in the Middle East and Africa.

In the talks Friday, Mr. Medvedev expressed concern that Western nations have exceeded the mandate of the U.N. resolution calling for establishment of a no-fly zone over Libya, and urged a diplomatic solution to the conflict. Also on the agenda are discussions about the ongoing conflicts in Africa, nuclear security, the nuclear accident in Japan and the situation in North Korea. The U.N. leader also expressed hope that Russia would support him for a second term leading the U.N.

Mr. Ban was in Russia as part of a wider tour of Europe.

俄羅斯總統梅德韋傑夫與聯合國祕書長潘基文在莫斯科附近就國際安全問題舉行會談，會談內容涉及中東和非洲局勢。

在星期五的會談中，梅德韋傑夫表示擔心西方國家超越了聯合國要求在利比亞設立禁飛區決議的授權，並敦促以外交方式解決衝突。雙方會談的議程還包括討論非洲正在發生的衝突、核安全、日本核事故以及朝鮮局勢等問題。這位聯合國領導人還表示希望俄羅斯支持他連任祕書長，領導聯合國。

潘基文對俄羅斯的訪問是他更爲廣泛的歐洲之行的部分行程。
