妻子不願生二胎 男子爬上40米高壓線塔欲自殺

A man was rescued from a high-voltage pylon after he threatened to commit suicide because his wife refused to have a second child with him, media reported Sunday.

據相關媒體週日報道，一名男子因妻子不願生二胎，所以選擇利用自殺威脅其妻之後，最終在高壓線塔上被營救下來。

Zhang Guiping, 33, climbed the 40-meter tower in Lianhe village on the afternoon of January 13 and remained there for 16 hours following an argument with his wife over the matter.

張貴平，33歲，在和妻子關於二胎問題發生爭吵之後，於1月13日下午爬上了蓮荷鄉內一座高達40米的高壓線塔，並被困塔上長達16小時之久。

Police braved rain and unusually cold weather Saturday night to clear trees for a safety net below and called the local utility to cut power to prepare for what turned into an overnight ordeal.

週六晚，警方冒着大雨和極度寒冷的天氣，將周圍樹木清空並在下方支起安全墊，同時聯繫當地供電部門切斷電力供應以準備接下來整晚的救援工作。

Zhang and his wife already have a 5-year-old son. He had taken drastic measures because he was jealous that his neighbor had a second child, read the report. Zhang also suffers from mental illness and is partially deaf, police said.

據報道，張貴平和其妻已經有一個五歲的兒子。他在看到鄰居家生了二胎後心生嫉妒，因此採取了極端手段。警方表示，張貴平精神方面有問題，聽力也有一定障礙。

Zhang's wife and parents attempted to talk Zhang down from the pole. However, given the distance, rainy weather and his condition, Zhang did not hear his family's pleas, media reported.

張貴平的妻子和父母都曾嘗試勸他下塔。然而，據媒體報道，由於塔高雨大，張貴平情緒又不穩定，所以他並未聽到家人的請求。

Police remained on watch overnight and provided Zhang with food and water. An exhausted Zhang finally agreed to come down around 8 am the next morning. He has since been reunited with his family.

警方整夜都在旁觀察，並給張貴平提供了水和食物。第二天早晨8點，耗盡體力的張貴平終於同意下塔。最終他和家人得以重新團聚。
