Panic buying in Shuangliu and Longchang counties, both located in Sichuan province, was stirred by rumors of "three consecutive days of darkness after December 21."

【講解】文中的panic buying即指“搶購”或“恐慌購買”，如果說“搶購某物”，我們還可以說成snap up something，snap up是指把...搶到手，爭購。“限時搶購”我們可以說成flash sale。文中的doomsday和the end of the world都指“世界末日”，rumor指“謠言，傳聞”，microblog指“微博”。
