1. goose bumps

釋義:Bumps on one's skin where one's body hair stands on end as the result of an intense feeling of cold, nervousness, anxiety, excitement, or fear. (用語表示寒冷,緊張,害怕,激動或者焦慮的感覺,雞皮疙瘩)

用法:這個一個名詞短語,它通常和動詞get搭配作謂語表示“起雞皮疙瘩”的意思,即:get the goose dump。和動詞give搭配表示“讓人起雞皮疙瘩”的意思,即:give somebody goose bumps。
