狀語從句

1. 在in order that, so that引導的目的狀語從句中，用may或might+動詞原形(so that從句中也可用can或could)表示虛擬語氣。

If you do know, answer in a loud enough voice in order that (so that) all the class may hear. 如果你真的知道，你就大聲回答，以便讓全班同學都能聽到。

He came ten minutes earlier in order (so that) he might get a good seat. 爲了搞到個好坐位，他早十分鐘來了。

2. as if/ though（似乎，彷彿）引出的方式狀語從，如果表示真實情況應該用直陳語氣；

如果表示非真實情況則應該用虛擬語氣, 其謂語動詞的虛擬式與wish後面賓語從句中謂語動詞的虛擬式相同。

1) 與現在事實相反，用動詞過去式，be動詞用were。如：

He talks as if he knew everything in the world. 他談起話來好像他知道世間的一切似的。

He speaks English as if he were an Englishman. 他說起英語來就好像他是個英國人似的。

2) 與過去事實相反，用“had+過去分詞”的虛擬結構。

He behaved as if nothing had happened. 他表現出好像什麼都沒發生似的。

He talks as if he had been to the moon. 他談起話來好像他上過月球似的。

3) 與將來事實相反，用“would (might)+動詞原形”的虛擬結構。

She cried as if her heart would break. 他哭得心都要碎了。
