"直升機父母"的升級版:"割草機父母"
原來聽說過"直升機父母"，如今，又來了"割草機父母"。前者時刻觀察孩子的一舉一動，孩子一旦遇到什麼挫折和困難，他們立馬出手相助。後者則是前者的升級版，他們不等着困難出現，而是一直走在孩子前面，隨時替他們清除障礙。
The lawnmower parent comes as well-intentioned parents increasingly try to trim the problems from their children's lives.
越來越多心懷好意的父母試圖掃清孩子生活中的一切障礙，於是，"割草機父母"就出現了。
Instead of hovering over their children closely monitoring them as helicopter parents are said to, lawnmower parents get out in front of their children to try and clear the way for them. They try to remove obstacles that children might need to negotiate.
