羅密歐與朱麗葉之間的愛情悲劇大家耳熟能詳了。導致悲劇結果的原因就是兩大家族之間的宿怨。如果我們想要表達“這兩個家族已經彼此敵對了好幾個世代”這個句子，那麼，就需要找到一個合適的表示“敵對；仇恨”的詞或短語。除了hatred, hostility, 我們還可以用一個比較好記的短語來表達，就是bad blood, 字面意思爲“壞血”；引申意思爲“仇恨；怨恨；嫌隙”等。
