可可網友們，大家好。新年是大家最願意做個總結，下個決心，許個願望，安排個計劃的時侯。不管將來有多大可能完成規劃，實現願望，我們還是都希望自己的生活能夠朝着正確的方向行進，能夠在正確的軌道上行進。
那麼，“步入正軌”用英語可以怎樣表達呢？
首先是，“軌道”，track. 它有“鐵軌，車轍，蹤跡”的意思。on the right track也就是我們要說的“步入正軌，在正確道路上”了。
比如下面這段新年感言。
I’ve made up my mind to take the challenge. There will be lots of obstacles ahead, and I have a long way to go, but I know I am on the right track. Support me and bless me.
我已經下定決心接受挑戰。前面會有很多困難，我也有很長的路要走，但我知道，我選擇的路是正確的。支持我，爲我祈禱。
說到這兒呢，我們再來看一句話。
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there. 即使你找對了路，可如果你就坐在那條路上不動，也會被其他的車輪碾壓過去。
還是得付出努力才行。我們再看一個小對話。
兩個學生剛剛按自己的想法進行了一次實驗，但結果沒有預期中的好。於是，其中之一問：
A: Are you positive that we are on the right track? 你確定我們的路子是對的嗎？
B: Positive. If not I will push it on to the right track. 非常確定。就算不對，我也要把它推到正確的道上去。
看來想要取得成功的願望還是強烈的。
on the right track 還可以用來表示做某一件具體的事情的步驟是正確的。比如，
You are on the right track for solving the puzzle. 恩，你這麼去解這個謎題，步驟是對的。
生活不是plain sailing, 總會遇到坎坷，不過，借用對話中的一句話，we still have a long way to go, but we know we are on the right track. 好了，我們下期再見吧。
