中式英語之鑑:建議
我不會建議開車去---沒有地方停車。
[誤] I wouldn't advise you taking the car --there's nowhere to park.
[正] I wouldn't advise taking the car --there's nowhere to park.
注：advise, allow,forbid 和permit 等動詞，既可後接動名詞，也可後接不定式。當後接動名詞，動名詞前不用
表示人的賓語，若後接不定式，則要用表示人的賓語。總之，要表示“勸某人做某事”這個意思時，常用的結構是advise sb. to do sth.，不是advise sb. doing sth.，但可說advise doing sth.。要表示“勸某人不要做某事”時，常用的結構是advise sb. against sth. 或advise sb. against doing sth.。
