注：第一句雖然將原文的意思忠實地表達了出來，但英國人仍然難以體會中文“日出之處日落之時”的內涵。因此，借用地道的英語說法纔是最明智的選擇。swings 是“鞦韆”，roundabouts 是“旋轉木馬”。swings and roundabouts 在英語中就表示“有得有失”。“失之東隅，收之桑榆”還可以直接用 It's all swings and undabouts 來表達。
