224. 他跟一個百萬富翁的女兒結婚了。
[誤] He married with the daughter of a millionaire.
[正] He married the daughter of a millionaire.
注：英文 marry 一字通常是用作及物動詞的，共有三個意思。
（1）結婚，包括娶和嫁，例如 He is going to marry Miss Wong.（他將娶王小姐爲妻。)
She married an Englishman.（她嫁給一個英國人。）
May cousins marry each other?（表兄弟可以結婚嗎？）
（2）遣嫁，娶媳，例如 He married his daughter to a rich man.（他把女兒嫁給一個富翁。）
He married his son to an architect's daughter.（他替兒子討了一個建築師的女兒做老婆。）
（3）主婚，例如 The priest is going to marry them.（牧師將爲他們主婚。）如用 passive voice 是表示已結了婚的那種狀態，如 Tom and Alice have been married four years.（湯姆和艾麗絲已結婚四年了。）
They got married soon after that.（那以後他們隨即就結婚了。）
