學校裏，瑪麗和丈夫看到小謝爾頓一個人形單影隻地坐在一個桌子旁，而旁邊就是哥哥喬治和其他同學，媽媽覺得小謝爾頓實在是太可憐了。
所以這一集裏，爲了讓媽媽開心，謝爾頓開始找朋友了！
1. be beside yourself
謝耳朵的姐姐跑去告訴謝耳朵，媽媽因爲他沒有朋友很不開心。
be beside yourself形容（因情緒太強烈而）無法控制自己，後面加上不同的名詞就可以形容不同的極致情緒。
He was beside himself with rage when he saw the mess.
他看到一切都亂七八糟就勃然大怒。
She was beside herself with joy when she heard the news.
她聽到消息欣喜若狂。
2. have the floor
floor除了是地板、樓層，還表示“（活動的）場所”。
have the floor的意思是“取得發言權，發言”。
補充三個floor表達：
take (to) the floor 起身跳舞
take the floor 開始發言
go through the floor 降至很低的水平
3. easy on the eye
當你想到easy除了簡單的，還表示“舒適的；安逸的”，應該就覺得easy on the eye/ear這個短語不奇怪了。
它表示悅目／耳的，比如：
Her paintings are very easy on the eye.
她的畫賞心悅目。
